I am now the proud owner of an ICENET-NGW Phantom Home Services Integration Server, and I am more than impressed!After paying a hefty £4000 for the server anything less than perfection just would not be good enough!

The HSI server is basically a very good computer integrating your TV, HIFI, DVD/VCR, alarm and other HA possibilities. All in a case that looks like a very very cool HIFI...

I saw this while browsing Freshmeat this afternoon, and I thought it might be of interest to those who bought their 99 quid Tivo's

"tivo_mail is a set of scripts to allow you to see your waiting e-mail on your TV screen using a TiVo!"

Unfortunatly, that's about as much of a description as I could find, so if one of you lucky Tivowners wants to try it out, mail me the results & I'll update this article
