My new site is my attempt to show what I am doing with my home automation system. Although not as elaborate as some systems out there, mine is a compromise of what the other half will put up with and what I can get away with. :o)
My main interest is in using CAN bus for my new designs. After having worked with CAN bus offshore on subsea systems and now in a Telematics environment, I realised the possible potential as a home control system. Although only a fledgling system at present, I am currently undertaking a much larger project, similar in concept to the excellent Cbus system, which I plan to document on my website. Although I could easily buy the Cbus system, I prefer the challenge of doing it for myself.... |
