"Hello Mark, The current situation is that several OEMs are considering a UK launch for the end of this year but none has taken a final decision. Hopefully in August I should be able to tell you who is coming first!

The reason for Z-Wave based products being slow to the UK is due to the very specific requirements for AC powered devices in UK which requires special tooling and some modifications to the power supply.

Our customers are so far giving priority to launches in mainland Europe. There is a great opportunity for a UK based manufacturer to enter this market but none so far taken the initiative.
