"At the Light & Building trade fair in Frankfurt, a group of home automation solution providers has launched the Enocean Alliance to foster the homonymous radio technology provided by startup company Enocean GmbH. The group standardizes on the Enocean physical layer, enabling interoperability between applications.

Members of the alliance are, among others, Honeywell subsidiary MK Electric (Basildon, UK), Distech Controls (Quebec, Canada), Masco (Taylor, USA), Omnio AG (Lufingen, Switzerland), and Thermokon Sensortech (Mittenaar, Germany). Also Siemens and Osram have joined the group...."
