Logitech Harmony One

Danny from Mavromatic recently reviewed the Logitech Harmony One.  This new universal remote uses a 2.2" colour capacitive touchscreen, but also employs lots of physical buttons that give the "feel" that touchscreen only remotes struggle to provide.

Watch the video below for Danny's verdict on this £100 remote...

I looked into getting one of these to replace my Harmony 885, but when I realised it lacks the "fasttext" buttons I stuck with what I have. These coloured buttons are used by my freesat recorder and I'd be lost without them.

The Harmony remotes are ok, but unless you understand which buttons to press they are still not as easy to use as they could be. The Philips Pronto range albeit much more expensive offer far greater customisation and the touch-screen interface is very easy to use.

Huge improvement over the 880, and much better range than the 1000--I just wish that they wouldn't taunt me with PS3 buttons when I can't actually control it!
