New LED Lights for Standard Dimmers

 LED Bulb for Standard Dimmer

The extraordinary long life and lower power qualities of the new generation of LED bulbs make them a hot topic.  However many designs refuse to work with the regular mains dimmers many of us already have in our homes.  Now a new range is launching soon from CasaTech and we have a free delivery offer for Automated Home readers.

“It’s been a hectic last couple of months for us at CasaTech. Everyone has gone LED lighting crazy.  We are please to announce a new mains dimmable LED lighting using a standard mains dimmer!

Its been a bit like the Holy Grail for LED lighting. But its finally here. Dimmable LED lighting fixtures. And what is most exciting is that they use a standard mains dimmer that you use for your incandescent lighting.  They come with an 18 month warranty as well.

So what is the catch? Well the only catch is that at the moment its a complete fitting not just the bulb. They come in 3W to 9W and prices start at €25.50 for the 3W. All lights use Edison LEDs and a Cree Q4 version is also available on request (the Cree Q4 are slightly brighter than the Edison).  The 3W Cree will cost €36.45. All prices include VAT.

We are doing a special offer for Automated Home readers.  if anyone wants to pre-order 2 or more of the dimmables then postage and packing will be on us!  Just email us at info@casatech.eu for more details.”

  1. I’d be interested to know the lum output of the bulb and also the angle of light as these are good indicators to how the bulb will perform.

  2. The lumens are 270 for cool white 3W using Edison LEDs or 300 for Cree. Warm white is 240 and 290 respectively. Beam Angle is either 15, 30 or 60 degrees depending on which one you order. See the general forum for more details.

  3. Is there a link to the available products, prices and specifications e.g. dimensions etc. at Casatech ?

  4. Stephen,

Thanks for the update. Those are pretty good figures from what I’ve seen around
