Apple have just taken the wraps off their movies service in iTunes for the UK .  With around 700 titles available right away you have the choice of buying or renting.  Back catalogue titles sell for £6.99 while new releases go on sale for £10.99 on the same day as their DVD release.  It looks like the UK is getting a 48hr rental period (US currently 24hrs) with prices starting at £2.49 for older titles and £3.49 for new releases.  You can also download selected titles in HD quality for £4.49.  You'll be able to watch the movies on your iPod, iPhone or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV.  All the rest of the details after the jump...

Marmitek have just announced a new in wall X-10 micro module for shutters, blinds and projector screens.  You can program the preset address of all sunblinds in for instance the living room to the same address. With the Preset key of any sunblind modules in this room or by means of sending the Preset address ON via a Marmitek interface all sunblinds can be set to the Preset mode simultaneously.  The SWM1Pis available now at around £80...

Remember this date all those TiVo lovers in the UK that shed a tear when they retired their Mk1 boxes.  According to Engadget TiVo boss Tom Rogers said this afternoon that he was "hopeful" that TiVo would be launched in the UK "soon"...
