"Hi Automated Home, have you seen this?  Is only in Belgian for now but I saw it in Elektor magazine. It seems to use the CAN bus protocol to connect all the units.

Good pricing too, looking at the Elektor magazine page. The LCD module was only 99 Euros and a 4 channel relay was 149."
