The £150 Y-cam Black is a compact wireless IP CCTV network camera with 30 built-in infrared LEDs allowing the camera to deliver full colour images during the day while at night automatically activate its built-in infrared lights to deliver a clear black and white image even in complete darkness. It's also one of a very few that you can currently view with the iPhone.

The Y-cam Black's audio features also allow you to listen in to the remote site. Advanced features include an alarm management system which allows you to transfer images by email or FTP based on an alarm trigger such as video motion detection.

With support for MPEG-4, MJPEG and 3GPP the camera will provide a live view from multiple platforms including Apple Macs and mobile devices including the iPhone.

The camera can also record video clips with audio at a pre-determined length for storage to a local hard drive. Video clips can be set to record manually or triggered by motion detection. The Y-cam Black has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam and supports up to 16 simultaneous remote users (maximum frame rate of 30fps and displayed up to 640x480 resolution).
