You may or may not be aware that Compaq are making available an upgrade to PocketPC 2002. It's free if you bought your iPAQ after 6th Sept, otherwise about GBP22...

"Interestingly, I had an e-mail from Compaq today saying that the upgrade doesn't include Media Player or MS Reader on ROM, because a full PocketPC installation needs 32MB ROM and the iPAQs only have 16MB. You can, of course, install these apps into RAM."
