Remote Central have the scoop on a new colour LCD universal remote due first quarter of 2007...

"Here at Remote Central, we've long been hearing that Universal Remote Control (URC) was going to take their popular Complete Control MX-950 remote control and replace the black and white screen with a color one - and it looks as though the company may have finally gone ahead with that idea...For now, all we can say is that the R70 is due in March 2007, has a total of 49 buttons including 6 LCD-adjacent keys, and is designed "to let average consumers automate their AV systems or Home Theaters like the pros". Pricing has not been announced.
