We just spotted this video taken late last year on the Home Depot Smart Home, a live-in research laboratory operated by Duke's Pratt School of Engineering.

The C-Bus Wiser goodness just keeps on coming.  The free iPone app to control the system is now available on the iTunes apps store, giving control of your  lighting, climate, entertainment, energy and camera monitoring from within your home via WiFi or away from home over the cellular data network.  Check out the demonstration video after the jump...

Back in May we reported on the launch of a new CBus home controller from Clipsal.  Then last week the UK C-Bus product manager announced on our forums that the 'Wiser' module would be launching in the UK in January.  Now we've received the official press release from Schneider Electric

We've noticed through interweb chatter that Clipsal have launched an new Home Controller called "Wiser".  As usual we've received no press release or annoucement from Clipsal / Schneider and there appears to be no information available to the UK distributors either, but here's what we've found so far...

Cytech have just launched upgrade packages aimed at existing users of their Comfort Intelligent Home System.  Users with installations using the original Comfort 1 system introduced in the UK in 1999 will be able to upgrade to Comfort 2.  This brings the the new family of products that includes slave expansion modules (SEP01-M2), UCM05 (RS232, Ethernet and USB), UCMs for C-Bus, KNX/EIB, Z-Wave, HDL, GSM, CWM02 Webserver etc to all users...
