We've spent may hours with Drobo and DroboShare over the last few weeks preparing our review. Belfast based company - RipFactory - have always offered a CD ripping service.  But now they are selling their standalone RipServer box so you can do it yourself.  The Linux based unit combines ripping software with a NAS and is available in 0.5TB and 1.0TB versions.  Prices start at £599...

The home NAS market has never been better served and here's another interesting proposition.  Acer have up'd the capacity of their easyStore to 3TB, making it a direct competitor to Drobo (look out for our in-depth Drobo review coming soon)...
