Here's some info on the exciting new Clipsal RF retro fit lighting. These may (or may not) be the RF switches promised for the UK soon.
ULTI is an innovative, easy and cost effective lighting-control and home-automation system that makes life in the home, office or hotel more stylish, convenient and convivial. Departing from traditional light switch systems in their ease of installation and adaptation to designer/user needs, Clipsal new system ULTI reached new heights in home automation of lighting controls. Without the need for re-wiring, ULTI can be installed in any existing switch system, fuss free. This significantly reduces costs since the company's (patent pending) proprietary protocol enables data to be transmitted at lower power consumption. The system also features other enticing designs such as backlit buttons and re-mountable backboards. Furthermore, pre-programmed 'scenes' of lighting combinations can be introduced literally at the push of a button.
