A Bespoke Gaming PC – A Happy Story

A few days ago I put a shout out on our Twitter and Facebook feeds for some spec recommendations for a gaming PC.  A short time later I got a reply from Automated Home reader (and computer shop owner) David Lucas.

Now the last time I built a PC it was a Pentium 3 so I’ve lost touch with the latest and greatest in the world of PC motherboards and the like.  Despite my ignorance Dave was very patient with me and we worked through several specs before arriving at an ideal machine late on Monday.  The PC was built on Tuesday and ran through a 24 hour burn-in test on Wednesday before being despatched on Thursday.  It arrived with me yesterday (Friday) and it’s fantastic – just what we wanted.

So this is really just a happy story of how, in an age where the big box stores often provide such disappointing service, it’s great to find an independent, knowledgeable computer store that still goes that extra mile for its customers.  If you need a machine why not give them a call first and see what they can do for you.  Thanks Dave!
