I have a mains pressurised unvented cyclinder in my flat (Mega-flo type). This is used solely to heat water as I have electric heaters. I want to be able to turn the hot water ON, when im heading back from work (times vary).

What is the easiest method of doing this from my smartphone. The solution I had in mind is basically an Insteon Hub with an Insteon DIN Rail Switch 3600w. The problem i am encountering is that because the heating element in the cyclinder is 3000W there seems to be a limit to the number of solutions. Also heard Insteon recalled the hubs this month due to some problem, I know their equipment is designed for the USA and frequencies etc mean problems.

Any advice much appreciated.
