FD10 House filter only 63 amps

    Hello,

I am having my house re-wired and intedn to use a number of ld11 modules to control the lights. I bought the FD10 house filter as it seems to be the most common in the UK. However, it is only rated at 63amps whereas most power supplies to UK homes are 100amps. Is the FD10 ok to use?

    Thanks for your help

What is the main differential rated at in the consumer box, this is normally after the main breaker and before your breakers for lights and sockets.
But I really think you should ask a local electrician for advice.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I have ordered a 200amp version to be safe, as my electrcian was concerned with the safety of using the 63amp filter.

      Thank s for your help
