    Garden Logic and External PIRs

I would like to use some external PIRs around the outside of my house, has anybody done anything similar with Idratek? If so how have you handled the hierarchy of world, house, floor room etc? I thought the most logical in this situation would be to add a room direct to the world that represents the garden that way presence isn't reported to the house? Would this seem sensible and ultimately possible?

My Garage is also detached from the main house, should I set this up as a seperate house?

While we are on the subject can anybody also recommend some external PIRs and sources on the web?

    Thanks again

Basically you have several types for outdoor use. Normal exterior PIR types and beam break systems.
Beam break come in several flavours single beam, dual beam quad beam etc.
The more beams the better as this reduces false alarms. Can't find the website that I'm looking for but here is another one http://www.optexeurope.com/Site/temP...g=2&intLevel=5
These PIR sensors are quite good. http://www.optexeurope.com/Site/temP...g=2&intLevel=6
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
