Hooks ...

The Mir:ror on the RFID thread led me to thinking of other things that could could be useful indicators - eg: we put our keys on hooks in a key-rack when we get-home, and that might be a useful indicator ('tried Maplin for hooks with micro-switches, no joy) ... tool-rack is another thought, for keeping track of tools ... both easily be linked into Idratek modules, of course - if a suitable switch could be found !

How about pressure-pads, too, for detecting presence of things - laptop, say, or bums on seats ...

and loops around things - when broken, something's amiss ...

NB: lots of such switches could be expensive ... in switches & modules ... wonder if some sort of multiplexing could help - can't see how to do it, but ... using a couple of ODIs ???
