Raspberry Pi nears launch

I've been in the lucky position of having a RPi from the first batch.
Here are some of my experiences mainly focused around 1-wire and Arduino

Pi arriving soon. Its at DHL's sort facility in Birmingham. So I guess I will have it in about a week to ten days knowing what DHL are like. So far its 4 days over due.
Its in Spain and its out with the delivery courier. So fingers crossed I may get my PI today.
Just bought 2 8Gb memory cards from Aldi for under 10 euros.

Its here.Big grin well actually very big grin. Only 5 days late.
Just transferring the Debian image to one of my 8Gb cards. Will probably actually play with it tomorrow evening, if I can wait that long.

Arrgghh @~%&?¿ and other naughty words. My HDMI cable isn't a normal HDMI its HDMI to mini HDMI.
Oh well off to bed as its now one in the morning, and will get one manaña.
Was looking forward to running at least Debian, then RaspBMC.
Was thinking of running one card with Debian and another with RaspBMC.
My first task will be to repair a couple of disks on my dying server well after I have had a play.
Might see if I can get the kids to build a Lego case for it.
