    Beco dishwasher

My beco dishwasher when swiched on just rinses and empties whatever programme is chosen. Anyone got ideas? TS

Could be anything from a faulty programmer selector, dodgy temp sensor, leaky hose etc.
If its a leaky hose and water is dripping inside, there is a small float switch that rises up on the bottom and cuts off the water and makes the dishwasher go to the empty cycle.
I would try and open the dishwasher and see if there is anything obvious. Most things can be got at, but it could take sometime to work out how to do it. Took me 2 days to work out how to remover the impeller and motor assembly from the pump. I couldn't take the pump out as a complete unit without cutting a hose as it wouldn't come off.
Here is the manuals page for the Beco stuff

Many thanks for that, will have a look inside. Tried without success to locate a service manual for this-the model number is DSFN 1530

Had this issue too. Don't know whether it's a problem with the model.

            Hi Ryan,
Yesterday turned machine on its side, stood it up again and presto it started working again. Worth a try. Hope it works for you. TS

On its side? Seems kind of dramatic. Is that really a sensor issue?

Perhaps it was a 'stuck' sensor issue. I wonder if the altering of the gravity in relation to the component released it?

Could be. Maybe even a dead creepy crawly. Let us know if it still works after a while.
