Not sure if anyone else does this, but I have up until now tended to 'Network enable" the module, and then let it auto enable all the downstream items.

However post something I came across last night, where the AutoAssociate button on an IPD, came back with some nodes failing to respond, but are working, having read how the IPD power cycles a spur, then waits 20 seconds for nodes to respond as the method to determine auto populate, might it be better to specifically only enable the parts which need enabling?

Both from this point of view, but also the benefit of general Idratek bus congestion and system use?

Has anyone else considered this / does anyone else setup their system like this?
