I use a combination of jeweller's screwdrive and a Stanley knife blade. A pair of long nose pliers often work. Something like the ones used for model making.
Hi
I've been setting up a few MS13 motion detectors and I'm sure I'm not the only who is driven crazy by those little plastic bits that have to be removed before you can unscrew the battery cover.
I know they're necessary for keeping moisture out, and can be left off if there is no moisture near the detector, but I still have to use them for my kitchen and bathrooms.
Does anyone have any good tips for getting these things out? I've been trying to prise them out with the tip of a knife blade. My tweezers don't seem to do any good. Any suggestions?

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
