Has anyone done anything interesting with these two devices? I want to hook the former up to the latter and use them with ITTT or something similar to create event alerts & recording.

I've been following the discussion here http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=6517 and here http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=6581 where they see to have decoded the protocol to use via the serial port.
http://www.domoticaforum.eu/viewtopi...&t=7152#p53758 has the pinout for the serial port on the Powermax.
Next I'm looking at the GPIO on the Pi to see if they can interface direct, rather than via RS232
