Marcus, many thanks for posting ...
in our set-up, we're still now & then getting nights with no ghosts roaming, even with the House for-sure being Unoccupied (we check, obviously, the Histories) ... looking at the timings, we've tried to find correlations (eg: with whether it becomes Unoccupied before or after mid-night) and we've tried deleting our explicit switching (immediate effect was no ghosts for two nights, so we've reinstated it) ... ie: it seems to occur randomly, ‘though probably not !
BTW, we do use the External Door interlocks for the House becoming Unoccupied / Occupied, and there's also an option for two Rooms seeing motion, before the House becomes Occupied again ... in our set-up, though, the latter doesn't always work, because our open-plan layout has driven us to include some virtual PIR sensors, fed by General Logic which interprets multiple sensors to deduce more precisely where Motion is occurring, which can mean one real PIR sensing false Motion can cause a virtual one to also see such motion, and so sometimes two Rooms falsely sensing Motion, and so the House becoming Occupied inappropriately - it times-out fairly soon, of course, but ...
