Thought you might be interested in some external sensory data gathered by Cortex from two of our systems for yesterday's eclipse event . One system based in Newcastle and the other in Trowbridge. Also added for interest is more pronounced effect on light level in an internal room (Newcastle site).

Hmm yes, overnight seemed warmer at the Newcastle site than both others probably because of cloud cover and being in an urban area. During the day it was relatively sunny in Newcastle but also wind direction being from W probably favoured east over west coast. Trowbridge being perhaps less prone to wind effects (I mean from coast) as well as further south maybe helps.
