Hello,
I'm new to this forum which sems great for finding help about evohome.
I have the Evohome system since september 2015 and i find it great.
i have :
Evotouch with BDR91
14 HR92 heads in 12 area.
RGF100 gateway
ATF300 wall plate (not yet in use, house is under renovation thus no electricity in that room)
The installation has been made by a specialist (i hope he is) but i have one or too question/problems :
- First of all (problems) the evotouch controler (panel) did somtimes reset continuously when batteries are in... as soon as y remove them, the device stop reseting. When i put them back, the device reset, get to the hour settings, then reset and so on. It happens 2 weeks ago, i changed original batteries with other rechargeable batteries of the same voltage, and now same problem, it reset again and again ... it's now in the stand plugged to the electricity. is there a problem with the device or do i something wrong ? Maybe a firmware update is needed here?
- I have read somewhere on this forum that the evotouch controler could be configurer as a standalone thermostat when not using HR92 heads. I think the guy who installed the system did it wrong. How could i check the configuration of the evotouch controler to see if its set as standalone or not?
Hope my questions are "clear" enough as english is not my first language.
Thanks for your future answers.
Mike
