JRiver Engen -- Z-Wave Controller Software
JRiver is a commercial software developer. We have started beta testing with a couple of Z-Wave related software products.
Engen -- software server that supports the Z-Stick. Written in Python, running on Windows, Linux, and OSX. REST interface, HTML accessible.
OneRemote -- Android app that allows custom structure, buttons, and backgrounds. SSDP search and connect.
It's on the JRiver forum on the board called JRiver Smart Theater. Our initial focus is on lighting. The software is working, but still rough. It will eventually be sold for $50 to $100 (no price has been set).
Your advice or comments will be very welcome. Thanks.

There are a few pictures here:

I wrote about running it on a NUC, using Linux here:

It's self-contained. No Internet access is required though if Internet is available, you can save your settings to a Cloud server.

A beta version of Engen is available now. Follow the beta link on this board:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=48.0
It's $20 now and has a 60 day trial.
It has a web interface:

What works now -- Light bulbs and switches. Z Stick and many Aeon devices. We've had mixed results with the UZB1 usb stick from Z-wave.me. Works for some.

Engen now supports meters (power consumption) and sensors (temperature, water, etc.).
