This new release includes the all-new and highly requested graphing feature. WeatherSnoop 2.0 now produces full color graphs of your historical data for trending an analysis. You can select the value and the range to view your data with just a click of the mouse. Also featured in WeatherSnoop 2.0 is support for two professional weather stations: the Peet Bros. ULTIMETER 100/800/2000/2100 and the RainWise MKIIICC-LR computer interface.

About WeatherSnoop: WeatherSnoop makes it easy for your Mac to interface directly to one of many popular weather stations or an Internet-based data source such as Weather Underground. Watch your weather come to life with beautifully rendered instruments and gauges that show temperature, wind, rain, and more changing in real-time. Once your weather data is obtained from the selected source, it can be published to Internet-based weather services such as Weather Underground and the Citizen Weather Observer Program. Your weather data is also available via an XML feed using WeatherSnoop’s built-in web server, so other applications can obtain the latest weather quickly and easily.

  1. This is a really good app for the Mac I have been using it for a few months now. The developer is very responsive to any problems you may have and is willing to spend time sorting them out. I am in the process of writing a web front end for it which I hope to release soon under the GPL. What I have so far can bee seen at http://g1gsw.dyndns.org/~g1gsw/

    I can certainly recommend WeatherSnoop app if you have a weather station and are in the market for a really good Mac app that is designed for OS X.

    Thanks for this. As a result of your comment, I was finally motivated to buy a weather station, and the one you mention on your website turned out to be on “end of line special offer” at my local Maplin, at half the price of the replacement model 🙂
