Fibaro Launch New Z-Wave LED RGBW Controller

We’ve been hearing lots of rumours about new Fibaro modules in the works including Flood, Gas, Smoke and CO sensors.  To start the ball rolling Fibaro have released a brand new LED unit dubbed the “RGBW Controller”.

The system can be used to connect to three and four colour 12/24V LED lights on its four channel dimmer.  In addition it includes four analogue inputs supporting a variety of sensors and potentiometers operating within 0-10V range. The modules will retail for under £50 and Vesternet say they will have the first stock in Europe ‘very soon’.

Fibaro RGBW Controller is one of a kind, advanced wireless 4-colour LED strips controller. Apart from traditional RGB channels it, also supports the additional white light channel, which allows for adding pastel colours to the colour scheme. The device may control up to four analogue sensors.

  1. What sort of connections are present on the module? Is it the 3 wire LED strips that are needed to connect? does this act as a DC power supply for the LED strips too?

  2. The Fibaro RGBW module is an excellent device. Its support both 3 and 4 wire LED strips. As many as 4 sensors can be attached to the module to control the lighting based on temperature and other values.
    The mood light colour can be controlled through the beautiful Fibaro iPad app and other interfaces. The module provide the power to the LED strip.
