Insteon Home Automation Modules – Now Available in the UK

After a ‘soft launch’ this month it appears Insteon is off to a great start in the UK as the initial batch of 150 Hub Controllers have sold out already.  UK distributor BMB Electronics has more stock on the way and you may be lucky enough to still be able to pick up some units at retailers.

The guys at Vesternet have contacted us to say they will have the full range in stock in January and they are already on their website available to pre-order.

  1. At last. Can’ t wait to get some of these.
Does anyone know when we can expect the range of devices to be expanded?

  2. I have to say i’m rather disappointed with the range they’ve brought out.. but hopefully over time they’ll flesh them out.. and hopefully a USB PowerLinc which is compatible with my HA controller.

i hope youll be selling in the automated home shop ?? 😀

  4. Was the wait really worth it? They seem to have priced themselves out of the competition and the technology seems rather out of date now.

  6. Such a let down with no USB/Serial adapter, does anyone have any information when the next set of products are likely to launch?

  7. Why oh why does it take Insteon so long to get its products into the UK. Waiting to buy and no where to buy from. Come on, get the products out!!!.
