Hi DBMandrake, I'm so bothered with my Honeywell system that I'd like to buy some video conference time from you, before I rip the lot out in favour of normal TRVs. Would that be possible?
Hi DBMandrake - you seem to be the expert on here for Evohome and I apologise for the direct IM but I am desperate and need your help. I have had a fully working evohome system working perfectly for over 5 years. The system includes 5 UFH zones, 4 radiator zones and a hot water component for an unvented cylinder. However, I woke up this morning to both BDR91s (one each for the hot water and heating) and the UFH controller flashing red with connection errors. I have tried the standard rebinding method of holding down the button on the BDR91 for fifteen seconds to clear the binding and then settting it into binding mode by holding again for 5 seconds until the red lights flash at a different cadence and then setting the Evohome controller to bind mode but it is not picking anything up after multiple attempts. Any ideas on what I can do and why they would have all unbinded overnight? I now have no heating or hot water and a very unhappy family. Please help!
Hi, I’m sorry to bother you but I’m after a little advice with regards to wiring my mechanical stat in series with the BDR91. I’m getting very irregular/slow updates from the CS92 which is causing temp overshoots, something I am concerned about as I have an unvented cylinder. I know the theory behind it - and am familiar with the wiring of the system but I don’t really know where to start as I don’t want to cause myself problems which could be costly. I have an s plan system and a 2 wire mechanical stat with com and 1 wires (I guess 1 is. NC) I’d appreciate any advice you could give me. Many thanks Ed
