I have the same problem... however it seems that after 15/30minutes the controler is updated. There is just a huge amount of processing time on the servers as it seems..

FWIW I have created a case with Honeywell Support (case number 03273675 if anyone wants to reference it). I'll post any updates I get.
I have just posted my experience with issues since I updated to IOS 12. It may not be IOS 12 but for the past two days the app on my devices did not instruct the controller. I cured it by deleting the app on each device and reinstalling it.
Not wanting to jinx anything but it's been fine for me again last night and today. Fingers crossed it's all back to normal now.
Yes, after a short period of being down for maintenance yesterday it seems to be working again this morning. Phew! It wasn't my hardware!
