What VOIP service do you have. As many VOIP boxes only support certain protocols and not others. The reason for asking this is that there are boxes that can take a normal telephone line and a voip line to one telephone.
Siemens do a gigaset model which can be used with VOIP. Its not cheap. Also on the Skype website they sell cordless phones as well that can be used with VOIP and normal lines.

this is not the point, I want to cancel the first line, but transfer the sockets so that they can be used on the second line.

Opps wrong post to the wrong forum.
These 2 master sockets are they near each other.
If they are then just swap the incoming lines around.
