    2 BT lines into 1

    Hi

I have a scenario with 2 incoming BT phone lines into 2 master boxes. The original line is not broadband connected but is linked to other sockets around the house which were all put in when the property was built.

The second line has adsl and I want to cancel the first line.

I was wondering if anyone knew of eoither a cponnector or could provide some details of how to wire the first master socket into the second so that the other house sockets work on the second (broadband) phone line

    Thanks in advance

What VOIP service do you have. As many VOIP boxes only support certain protocols and not others. The reason for asking this is that there are boxes that can take a normal telephone line and a voip line to one telephone.
Siemens do a gigaset model which can be used with VOIP. Its not cheap. Also on the Skype website they sell cordless phones as well that can be used with VOIP and normal lines.
have a look at these phones

Also have a look an EBAY.

this is not the point, I want to cancel the first line, but transfer the sockets so that they can be used on the second line.

Opps wrong post to the wrong forum.
These 2 master sockets are they near each other.
If they are then just swap the incoming lines around.
        Have a look here http://www.wppltd.demon.co.uk/WPP/Wi...telephone.html
for more info on BT sockets.
