That's correct.
Caught me out too when the system was first installed and I asked the question here. I know, it's illogical, it makes no sense, but the RF check will activate both BDR91s.

Another interesting possible side-effect discovered last night... my heating goes off at 11pm. At 11:20, the boiler was still running and the EvoHome controller was showing all zone set points at 10...
Back in the house now and the set points are all correct in the app and the weather tab is now working.
Move along, nothing to see here...
Let me tell you a storrrrrryyyy...
Today, for the first time in ages, my daughter was home early from school, and seeing as it's a bit Baltic out there, I texted her to see if she wanted the heat...
Perfect as always DBMandrake. I pulled the old one apart and tightened up the springs at the PCB end and that seems to be it fixed. Tried shaking it and slapping it and it continued to work...
Thanks. Incredibly easy. That makes a refreshing change! :)
New one up and running, old one gonna get dispatched with a hammer... nah, I’ll take a look and see if I can rescue it to keep as a spare....
As a few of you may remember, I have had random issues with RF getting saturated leading to multiple zone failures. I have put it down to a faulty dts92 and today I have a replacement ready to setup....
I’ve had 2 mass communication failures since installing in November. Both times the dt92 thermostat in the living room has shutdown/batteries went flat. Both times multiple zones were either...
There’s a lot of it about....
I hope they can do something in a firmware update to help with this problem. Doesn’t seem to be a rare occurrence and if it happens in the other direction (I.e. going...
And if periodic repetition doesn't occur for Set-Points then this is where it could all go wrong. If there's no acknowledgement on a sent message and both transmitters started at the same time, I...
Just a nearby device or electronic panel with a circuit board can cause issues even when not powered up. My garage door control panel would always prevent another wirelessly operated device from...
This has taken me a while to get my head around, but yes, I can see how that happens. However, wouldn't the set-point (as known by the controller) remain on the original setting rather than go to the...
I've been thinking about this a bit more...
So the theory is that a continuous transmission extra device would cause an issue, but a momentary transmission one, such as Loop, shouldn't. And I was...
Nope, the only wireless devices we have (that I can think of) are:
Loop - this is 868 MHz but others are using without issues and it's only a very minimal use of the spectrum so any collisions...
Ok, App is back. Breaking this down per-room... and given the granularity of the samples is no better than every 5 minutes:
TV Room is set to go from 20.5 -> 10.0 @ 22:30. It returned to 20.5 at...
Interesting - I was under the impression the system did a round-robin to bring everything into sync, thus any communication failure on a single update didn't matter because it would get re-sync'd on...
Ahhh. Wow. Just been reading phantom override. Will reset it tomorrow avoiding the hour and half hours. What a crazy bug!
All batteries reporting 2/3 bars. All signal strengths are full and all pass the bash-on-hand test. The mystery continues...
Also, doesn’t the system round-robin every few minutes and send out the...
DBMandrake - invaluable advice as always...
I believe all my batteries are strong (they are under 6 months old) but I will check. But the contacts, I’ve already had issues with 1 in the kitchen so...
Actually, I’ve just tried an override from Domoticz and that gives me the mobile phone override symbol on the EvoHome GUI. That’s not what I had, I had the clock symbol override that you get when...
Interesting theory. It's certainly not intended to be exposed to the outside world. I have just tried using my external IP and port 8080 but no response so I'm thinking it is correctly closed off....
I've exported all my data from Domoticz and here's a timeline of what happened...
At about 11pm all the radiators go back down to 10 degrees on their schedule and at this stage everything was...
UPDATE:
Everything has been working faultlessly since ‘The Incident’. I’ve been checking fault logs religiously and in the last 6 weeks I’ve had one momentary lost hot water sensor but nothing...
Good to know, I honestly have absolutely no idea what happened yesterday. The system has behaved itself since I restarted it in the afternoon. I haven't plugged Loop back in yet. Guess I'll do that...
No explanations, nothing.
Pulled the battery on the controller and put it back. Now, about 90 minutes later, all appears to have returned to normal. Although in between it did give me a variety of...
