It would be hard wired on a fused spur. I'll possibly go for a 1500W heater or one just under 2000W and use a 10A fuse.

Thanks Ad.
I would get a bigger relay, but finding one is another matter!!!!
It's a thermostat with 7 day timer wirelessly controlling a relay i'm after, all the ones on the market are...
I'm looking to fit a progamable wireless thermostat on some panel heaters, but i want to ensure the wireless receiver is upto the job of taking the load of the heaters. The spec for the receiver is...
No i didn't find them sold separately, i picked up some cheaper ones on ebay. You can setup and get your system working using just the HR80's if money is tight and fit the DT92e's later when you can...
The HR80's can act both as the radiator actuator turning it on and off plus the room thermostat. If you prefer a seperate thermostat for a room/zone then you can use a DT92e.
The advantage of...
Excellent, keep me posted on how you are finding day to day running, any tips etc.
Mine will be going live soon and with this freezing weather there will be lots of complaints from the family if...
I'm hoping to get mine installed this weekend. I've got 8 zones and am using seperate DT92e thermostats in 4 of them (plus the internal senor in the evotouch) the rest will use the sensors in the...
Another thing that may catch you out, is the RF tests. When you have binded to your sensor it prompts you for a RF test. For this to work the sensor has to be manually put into test mode, so don't be...
On the HR80 take the batteries out and then press the bind button while putting them back in, this clears any existing binding. Then try again.
You have a point there, i've never really thought about a central control, i suppose it would be good to be able to control them from my PC. Are you able to answer a few questions in this matter...
...
I was looking at getting them from Conrad, i can't see anywhere cheaper.
Also after doing a bit more research, with my proposed setup which does not include a central control all the information...
I'm at the point where i'm ready to install this system.
I just worked out the cost for my setup would be £566.
I'm going to have to start doing some serious reading up and maybe buy one FHT80B...
I was not going to include a PC, this is how i'm thinking of doing my setup...
A FHT80B Actuator and thermostat in each room
A FHT8W boiler connect
I would use my timer on the boiler to set...
If anyone is interested i contacted a German supplier yesterday and the stated that the FHT80B-II and FHT80B-III where the same.
I'm thinking of automating my heating using the conrad kit....
FHZ1000 - controller
FHT80B - thermostats
FHT8V - Actuators
FHT8W - Boiler controller
Does this setup look correct.
I hope...
