Yes as others...
I'd like to see an easy to access offset setting. So I can adjust the temp of all zones at same time in .5 deg increments as the seasons change. The eco mode at minus 3 is inflexible and 3 deg is...
Yes, it is nice to have it behaving. No other changes. Normal stroke. 1 minute min cycle, 6 per hour. Happy to help.
It is a bdr91. I didn't reset bdr91, but it did get rebound as part of guided configuration. Good luck.
If you set it the same temperature in zoned mode, and it is still unstable as you have said, then it is not behaving itself.
Today is a 'low load' day, fairly warm here in UK, I have a well...
Basically, yes. But it depends on your definition of 'achieve'. Can get to the temperatures easily enough, but to be stable at those temperatures a few hours.
E.g. set 18.0 from 16.
For me,...
I'll post my summary that is under 'positive experiences' thread here as well to round this off.

Initially, I was shocked at the lack of control, and overshooting behaviour I encountered. I was...
As my installation ended positive in the end, I will add my 2p here.
Initially, I was shocked at the lack of control, and overshooting behaviour I encountered. I was very concerned and assumed it...
A question for Honeywell:
The minimum run time setting (default 1 minute).
Is this the minimum the controller will fire for, or is the telling the controller what the boiler overrun is (for the...
A comment for Honeywell.
PI controllers are designed to drive 'symmetric' systems - those which can be driven up or down. Heating systems are asymmetric, they can only be driven up, but come down...
With regard to the HR92 valves.
As I said, I have found that if zones have only just reached a stable temperature (say after 30 min), and you introduce temperature switch points in one zone, it...
I will jump back in on my own post now. Wife has basically got fed up of me constantly watching the Evohome controller like a hawk, and told me to give it a rest for a bit...
Some other interesting...
Yes the radiator valves is the only way to stop this system from overheating. I get the same in that mode. If I had bought it as a normal thermostat, I would have returned it immediately. My old...
Hi Erik, yes your picture of 'multi-humps' is what I observe if zone 1 calls for heat. Or indeed if I put the system in thermostat mode which I did to start with.
I set all zones to 18.0, left them...
RF test shows 1 actuator bound and sensor is at 5-excellent. So comms seems okay.
G4RHL, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to sit in front of your boiler for over an hour...
Hi - I need more days to conclude if is has significantly improved, but I got the impression that it was better at least in the zones that are not the bathroom.
Though I wouldn't call having one...
I note impressive control of other zones. The radiators cool down as they pass the set point (typically 30% open as reported by HR92.
However, zone 1 bathroom overshoot - requested temp 19.0. ...
Now, also to point out some interesting observations which may help the bug to be tracked down.
I have just unbound, reset, and rebound everything.
Previously, all zones when tested individually...
A picture is worth 1000 words.
Please see my sketch of how a single zone heating behaviour works.

This is not from data, but just to illustrate it.
Hi Rameses
Okay I can see that IF the 'zone B' zone valve were operating as you say, then the zone B radiator would be cool, and any transient increase in air temperature would be short lived and...
top brake/rameses: firstly, thank you for taking the time to help.
I do not, however, think that this is the problem. Otherwise surely some HR92s would say 'unbound' or they would both say the same...
Yes the plastic ring is snug and tight, and the HR92 locked into place with the sliding switch. It cycles fully open-closed about a minute or two after installing it.
Yes if I press the button, it...
They are Honeywell VT117 bodies.
They definitely do close fully, but only when the Evohome tells the HR92 to close them fully!
I can get zones to heat completely independently and the other...
Or to put in really simply.
Zone A at the right temperature, radiator cold. Zone B at the right temperature, radiator cold.
Zone A is ramped up in temperature. Zone A calls for heat. Zone B does...
