Hi
We're in the process of moving house and I have 15xHR91 radiator valves going cheap if anyone of this forum is interested? Happy to sell bundled or individually. Looking for £25-30 each, or...
Huge thanks, although I eventually got my nanoCUL working it still regularly failed to transmit properly, so far today no errors at all.
Got mine and working perfectly with HA!
Just had a heating engineer visit. Very much looking like a pump, not fan related issue. They believe one of the main 22m supply/return pipes is resonating sound through our ceiling which they think...
Our pump is integral to the boiler, and the fan appears to be directly linked to the pump speed.
The problem with mine I think is the fan speed is directly related to the pump speed, and when the pump is on the fan is on! Got Ideal visiting today to check for any obvious faults.
Thanks for clarifying but should the boiler fan also keep running? I say this because when the boiler is just circulating water (setpoint below return temp), it is surprisingly loud, in fact louder...
Does anyone understand or have a view on how boiler adjusted weather compensation would effect the optimised start?
I assume as long as the weather is relatively stable over a period of days it...
Sticking, just appears to be being ignored.
This appears to be exactly what's happening, only difference is my boilers min temp is 33c. I'll email you separately about the firmware. Thanks.
Hi Kevin
What exactly did you do to make a 10c request actually switch-off the boiler? I've got some pretty good OpenTherm optimisations working via Home Assistant but I'm having trouble making...
Opentherm control of our boiler tends to keep the internal pump (within the boiler) running all day this time of year. Appears to keep circulating at very low temps, approx. 30c and fires the flame...
Our behaviour was different, no faults logged just appeared to miss the message to turn the boiler off.
Fixed ours by swapping the batteries to Lithium, we’ve had no overshoots since.
+1 For the fully assembled unit. Thanks
I think in my case yes they were both opening, just one a lot less than the other, which I guess was leading to one of the radiators not getting hot. What seems odd, is this is the same behaviour in...
Hi
I've been battling with my Evohome install for a while where I've two rooms both with two radiators in each, where in both cases the second radiators radiators appeared to be the only ones...
Yes, but I’ve just noticed like yourself it now logs and error.

Hi. I use the same in HA and it works perfectly. I recall having similar problems, so just make sure you only specify the entity to clear within the service data.
Month on and I'm still experiencing regular HW hot shoots, but I know have a solution which limits the impact, so I'm happy!
Basically I've now got an Opentherm Gateway monitoring the boiler, this...
Hi. Can you PM me with how much you’re asking. Thanks Dan.
Thanks. I have looked into this, but at this stage I'm trying to avoid any physical plumbing changes. Might fit the normally open valve if I start to suffer too many radiator temp overshoots whilst...
Thanks. The added benefit of latching open the CH valve is our bathroom towel rail now regularly warms up our towels which is great. Given the unvented cylinder typically reheats when required in...
Hi Kevin
I've recently installed Evohome with Opentherm control on a S Plan setup. I've spotted the opening and closing of the CH valve periodically when under low load, why would it being doing...
