I remember (well searched and found) a thread in 2016 that said two things 1) There does not seem to be a battery low warning for the CS92 and 2) The CS92 and BDR91 need rebinding after battery loss....
Sorry - I was wrong on the set points, they will reset a manual setting at the HR92 - Just tested it!
In my experience:
- Should radiators allow manual override and turn heating on?
Yes
- How long will the manual override take effect for?
Until the next manual change(heating off, zone change,...
Superb set of enhancements that would benefit us all - being able to turn a zone off with one click would be really good.

Thanks for the suggestion. All zones show perfect reception despite the continuing errors. EH support suggested deleting all zones and reminding, and this has resolved it. Worrying though, this sort...
Thanks Paul - should have said have also changed those batteries as well,m same result even after reboot.
OK, so 1498
here is a mystery - Perfectly working EH system suddenly starting giving comms errors on all 12 zones yesterday - photo attached. No new wireless devices, no new Bluetooth devices, no...
I have to agree with G4RFL - I have had plumbers and electricians trying to figure out the system from the manuals and fail almost every time. I am an IT Manager with 30 years experience and I found...
Very grateful for the update and your time, glad to see that Honeywell are still committed to EVH.
There is a lot of debate around leave the heating on or off when you are away. The majority of research I have seen come down on turn it off. And if you think about how quickly the temp drops if...
Thats a good tip - But are you referring to a temperate display change on the HR92 or the main controller ?
More likely to be a valve issue. Are you sure that the HR92 is seated correctly? (it takes a bit of force on same valves esp. those using the adapter).
Also carefully read the manual nd try the...
As per my earlier recommendation - A long standing professional standard wireless standard is Visonic, that has not changed.
In the UK it is quite common to have horizontal TRV's.
I am not asking for Honeywell to make them completely waterproof to IP65 or whatever, but if you look carefully inside the body of an HR92...
On my controller with firmware 02.00.17.03 I have no FAILSAFE, MIN ON TIME, CYCLE COUNT.
My system is setup with no boiler control - Should I expect these parameters to be there?
I have just found out to my cost (new HR92 needed) that if your radiator valve presents horizontally to the TRV, then if you have any sort of small leak from your radiator valve, any liquid travels...
You may be right, but I would suggest that 99.9% of Evohome users do not have the skill to do this or have the time to experiment with home grown solutions. Honeywell should invest properly in their...
No way I am afraid - Honeywell have been asked (on this forum a number of times) to consider it as a new feature, but no response!
Reading this board, I often reflect on how critical we are of features of EvoHome, and of Honeywell in general. Personally, I am pretty happy with my Evohome, but there is SO much that could be...
I have Evohome, Phiips Hue (Zigbee) and a mix of ZWave devices. I can tell you that much as I have criticisms of Evohome, their range and reliability beats Zigbee and Wave hands down. For a central...
Just make sure that your WiFi is broadcasting a 2.4ghz signal - If it is using 5ghz only then the Evohome cannot connect to this.

After Honeywell admitted that there had been crashing issues with their IOS app in Oct/Nov, this now seems to have been fixed (at least for me).
May I suggest that Honeywell consider doing the...
Is the locking bit properly engaged? If you alert the temp manually does the valve does the control unit show the update?
If the locking nut is working, then I would delete the zone and recreate,...
