Exactly this. Thanks to the great work that David Bonnes is doing with the RF integration of Evohome with Home Assistant (I think he’s a forum member here too) I can see the below OpenTherm data...
I’ve done something similar in our bathrooms. I use the Aeotec Multisensor 6 to trigger the lights on movement when the ambient light in the room is below a certain value. These also measure humidity...
I started changing my batteries for Eneloops about 18 months ago as the alkalines that I had in there died. I did this for 2 reasons. Firstly, I thought it was wasteful to be throwing away all those...
I'd guessed the temps came from V1 because of the improvement in accuracy since my move from SmartThings. Before I jump in and buy anything, would the dongle that Bruce is proposing here work with...
My Eco RF 36 doesn't have a clock but has Eco mode and I assumed that it goes by relative time rather than an absolute reading.
Is anyone having any problems at the moment? I’m receiving an email every time I try to do a zone or system change. I’m in the middle of moving my automations from SmartThings to Home Assistant and...
There’s also a standard integration that provides the data through the V1 API. There are InfluxDB and Grafana add ons to Home Assistant that allow for pretty simple graphing.
Likewise with an Intergas Eco RF 36
Disappointingly, yes. I had the same idea when I had a new Intergas boiler installed, but the outside temperature sensor is useless with Evohome as it stands.
I’d be interested in a fully assembled unit, Bruce, as I’ve just made the jump to Home Assistant and would be interested in the additional capabilities this would bring over the API integration.
When my flow temperature is within the tolerance and no additional heat is needed it displays 40C and number 1 as the pump is running but the burner is off. Once the heat demand is satisfied, I.e....
I think that homebridge addresses exactly this problem. I find it really useful running in the background to pull it all together in one place. I now have voice control of anything in SmartThings...
Have you tried Homebridge? I’ve had great success with SmartThings in it. I tried the Evohome plugin briefly but didn’t need it as I already had Evohome control through SmartThings.
One of the reasons that I first bought Evohome was the promised future integration with SmartThings. This never happened but thankfully someone else developed an unofficial integration using the API....
We have curtains in the front of the house and I tried to use the Indiegogo project MOVE, to operate them. This is a battery powered, bluetooth motor. I bought one to try it out and it did move the...
I’ve done everything described here (with the exception of curtain control which appears to be very expensive) using SmartThings with a combination of Fibaro dimmers and Hue bulbs in table lamps....
Slightly different problem here. For the last few days, every time I’ve looked at the Evotouch, it’s said the outside temp is 13C. Having just out of the car, where the temp was reading 17C, it was...
I was also under the impression that it would allow Evohome to reduce the requested flow temperature at higher outside temperatures, greatly reducing the chance of overshoots. We have a couple of...
Andy,
There was discussion in another thread about whether outside temperature passed over OpenTherm by the boiler was now being accepted by Evohome. I have just had an Intergas EcoRF 36 fitted...
Robin,
Thanks a lot. Yesterday I re-fitted an HR92 that I'd removed part way through the build of our extension after I noticed that the not very delicate builders had knocked the front panel...
Andy,
Thanks for the response. I don't see how this could be happening only to one zone if it's coming from the app. You can't apply a quick action to a a single zone. I'll look at my...
I looked at them in the last few weeks. As far as audio quality is concerned, I believe that Lithe are pretty good. However, my point about multi room audio with AirPlay is correct, which is what I...
PM sent. Its NE facing
I have turned off the cold weather boost and this has stopped the set point changing to 5C, but I'm still seeing the 35C set point occurring.

As an aside, have you fixed the bug where if...
I considered these but they’re not AirPlay 2, so don’t work for multi room audio. Instead I bought a second hand Airport Express as Airplay 2 has just been added to these, connected up an old amp and...
