I´m in the middle of a nightmare with rapidonline and since it has been mentioned in this forum I thought I might warn others.
I just wish I would have read some of the review that are available...
Regarding timing, I was thinking april/may and I was thinking 55 EUR per night including lunch (exluding ouzo and Metaxa, but including Tsipourou which is what the locals drink).
We could also have...
Just wanted to see if there is any interest for a meeting/workshop for Idratek users and perhaps potential users.
We have a hotel on an island in Northern Greece. The name of the hotel is Ipsario...
An alternative might perhaps be to connect through RDP without taking over the sound (i.e. leaving the sound to be played on the remote computer). This way all messages sent by cortex while you are...
Thanks Karam and Chris, I think I get it to work now and I understand the intended functionality for the notice board.
I also found out that I can get a direct connection from the object to the...
Thanks Chris, and one more (final?) question:
The clock gives the time in 12h format. How do I set it to 24H format?
I tried with =?HHMMSS but doesn´t seem to work.
Sorry for the plethora of...
Thanks Chris,
I've tested it and it works, With 40 rooms or so and a lot of other things I would like to push to this feed, it will be quite difficult to manage and I would like to be able to scroll...
I'm sorry Chris, but I lost you.
I´m using the AllDisplay a lot. It is perfect for the panels.
I manage to get the messages appear one by one on the NoticeBoard, but they disappear after a short...
Thanks Chris,
Well I tested the notice board, but I never got it to work. Attached a screenshot with my settings. Perhaps I do something obvious wrong. When I test the message it comes up allright,...
Hi spellinn,
Just wondered if you got this to work?
I've just tested ifttt and would like to use it with information from cortex. What I'd like to have is Cortex sending http postings which I can...
Have tou tried switching place on the inputs? (ie ground vs signal)
I tested the thermistor instead and while it work fine "on land", it give wrong readings when I put it in the tank. I would expect it to give a reading of 24C which should be the pool temperature....
Thanks Karam, I used a QAI with 10V which I thought would give a better resolution.
Anyway I go with the thermistors instead.

Thanks Chris, I've actually used those from rapidonline before (based on your suggestion) and they have worked well. I´ve used the clip on type. This time I wanted to test the LM35 instead since I...
I've connected some temperature sensors to a QAI and I seem to only get very crude readings (i.e. 16.67 - 20.00 - 23.33 - 26.67 etc).
Is it the sensor or have I set something wrong in the QAI?...
Thanks Viv, that solved it. However the maximum value I can set seems to be 10. I have ap 35 rooms and theoretically they could all be occupied the same time. Any way of increasing the no above 10?...
In some of our rooms we have chosen not to have lights controlled automatic. So the setting is "Manual control only". In those rooms I have tried using the "on delayed unoccupied trigger" to ensure...
Thanks Chris, I´ll be looking into the General logic to see if I can build something combined with macros.

We have finally started to set up the automated irrigation on our hotel and connected it to Cortex and we thought we would write about it on the forum to see if anyone has any ideas on how to improve...
I've compiled it now and it seems to work as it should. It is quite straightforward. Just send a POST request through any browser to get data from Cortex and a PUT to set a value. With the example...
Since you are connecting from a MBP, I assume you are using MacOs which Im not using myself, but happened to stumble upon a solution that might work for you:
've managed to connect to the 8.1...
Thanks Paul and Chris,
I was initially considering reed switches (or float switches), perhaps 15 connected together with resistors in a loop and mount this in a tube. Around the tube I would have...
I wonder if we could get a follow up from Paul on this. Did you install it and if so how did it work?
I want to do the same think, but I am a bit suspicious about the reliability of the ultrasonic...
I agree with spellinn. An Idratek module with a built in web server would be very usefull and i think it would open up a plethora of possibilities.
I tested this:...
I have a pressure pump that pumps water into the building and I would like to have information about the cumulative on time per day. The motor has a digital output which I use to get the information...
