One other suggestion, if not already done. Check to see if Eco mode has been set. If so deselect it. I found it had absolutely no value or benefit but was a pain with the boiler firing up every so...

One other suggestion, if not already done. Check to see if Eco mode has been set. If so deselect it. I found it had absolutely no value or benefit but was a pain with the boiler firing up every so...
I have an Intergas boiler plus OpenTherm. I have had no problems. It took a couple of weeks for OpenTherm to learn things then all good. I wonder if in your case a reboot is needed. The Opentherm...
I installed my system in December 2014. Now just about 9 years in I have not had any problems with the HR92s other than one which clearly was faulty and I ought to have got replaced early on but...
I can’t answer your last question as I don’t use Domoticz nor Alexa but there are others here who certainly will know the answer.
I should have added to my post that in my boiler (Intergas) there is a designated terminal for the OpenTherm connection, alongside that for a thermostat which of course is not wired in.
It is Opentherm that is controlling my system, monitoring what is needed and telling the boiler when to come on. Thus when Opentherm knows that the heat is sufficient for whatever zone or zones is...
No. It just stops.
Am sure 8mm will be a problem. My pipes are 15mm. The boiler does cycle initially if the temperature in a room is close to the set temperature but then settles down.
As another has mentioned much depends on the boiler. I have an Instagas boiler, Opentherm, and HR92s on every radiator apart from a tiny one in a downstairs WC. I have no problems with the boiler...
Does your boiler have an eco mode that keeps cutting in? If so I think you will find you don’t really need it.
Enjoy your investigation! I find I can get different weather forecast on different apps. What they say the temperature is outside is not accurate, but I can understand that. What Evohome picks up for...
My initial reaction is this is b.ll..ks! But then I am running Evohome and not just a house full of radiators and TRVs
That could well be the reason. Switch off Optimum Start and see what happens. My system certainly worked better and more efficiently and economically with it off. Indeed also Optimum End.
I gave up on optimum start some 8 years ago. It always came on far too early, over an hour too early at times. I find a room starts to warm up very quickly and if I ever wanted it to be at a certain...
Sometimes taking the control panel off its power and removing the batteries, wait 10 seconds or and then put back, can resolve these issues.
Sounds strange. Assuming you have a hot water tank then I assume you have a three way valve that will allow heating and HW, just HW or just heating. If your boiler is a combi then the heating should...
Death.
I forgot we had the free standing hub before!
Although if I take it off the mount when the batteries are fully charged I get about 15 minutes maximum.
Which might be fine if there are only a small number of HR92s to pair. My Panel usually stops functioning more within 10 minutes, 20 minutes is an unusual bonus. It is easier to take the HR92 to the...
That is possible. I have just checked my Panel. No battery sign now. If I take the Panel off the mount the sign returns and shows it fully charged. What is bad is left off the Panel the battery...
I have tried an experiment. I started with no battery icon. I took the Panel of its mount and the battery icon appeared showing fully charged. It took 20 minutes to go to full discharge and shut off....
You are lucky! I only get the battery icon when I take the panel off its mount.
Sadly complaints are not addressed. As you say this is a very long standing issue. If I take the panel off its mount I am lucky to get much more than 10 minutes and it starts bleeping at me almost...
By hot water I assume you mean domestic hot water. Mine is set to 60C. I am running a condensing boiler thus domestic hot water is instant. With my boiler the kw rating for hot water is up to 36kW....
Honeywell/Resideo do seem to have a record of producing great products but then not properly supporting them. From the outset I have always felt they don’t have any relationship with the end user. We...
