I would clear all binding on the DHW BDR91, and bind it again. It may be double bound.

Simply change Appliance Control to OpenTherm, you definitely don’t need to touch your HR92s and probably don’t need to touch your stored hot water CS92/BDR91 setup either, but simple to do if needed...

  4. Install GSHP before RHI payments stop? Evohome GSHP control

Just had 1,200m2 of farmland returned to me. My daughter is tennis mad and would like a tennis court constructed.

I figure it makes sense to prepare for the future and install a Ground Source...

I see this same behaviour with my setup OpenTherm + 4xHCE80.

Nothing you can do about it I’m afraid. At low zone demands < 10% (24C) I observe the HCE80s TPI the UFH pump even though the boiler...

Ideally Evohome would allow you to set different max CH and DHW OpenTherm temperatures, but unfortunately it doesn’t. And with some boilers the default 80C or 90C is too high.

Evohome support of DHW priority has only just been added to its firmware. Previously if you had CH and DHW valves you would wire them to the DHW BDR91 such CH closes when DHW opens.

When there is a Priority DHW demand the CH valve is closed and DHW opens, so all flow is to the cylinder.

As I understand it, this parameter sets the closed to open, 0-100% (90 degrees) actuator time.

What do you observe when there is a 100% demand, how long does it take to open the valve?

If there is no heating demand 0% then the boiler won’t fire and the radiator valves won’t open.
