Same for me.
Was discussed here: https://www.automatedhome.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?6459-Evohome-icon-and-spurious-overrides
You might find this link useful: https://www.intergasheating.co.uk/app/uploads/2018/07/180712-IGH-Terms-and-Conditions-2018.pdf No mention of needing an approved installer (and I've read similar in...
Exactly the same issue with my DTS92 this morning. Blank display (low battery had been on). A few anomalies, such as dhw temp not updating. Replaced batteries and all back to normal
Don't confuse zones and single/multi-room. A zone can be in one of two modes - single or multi-room.
I'm no expert, but here is my two penny worth.
I think the towel radiator question depends on whether you have an automatic bypass fitted. If you do, you shouldn't need a radiator to take away...
Not an expert, but I suspect that you are going to have to have a HR91 (or 92) on at least one of those radiators. The controller can act as the sensor, but it is expecting to control a TRV. I'm not...
Seems like contacting Honeywell, or removing your system in the portal and re-adding may sort this:
...
Sounds like a comms or binding fault. Presume you have tried having the controller in close proximity to the BDR91?
I have the same phantom zone - I simply ignore it.
My memory may be failing me, but I'm sure there was something about having to configure stored hot water before anything else. I don't know if that is the cause of your problem.
Cold weather boost should show as an icon on the controller against the zones where is has been enabled and is active.
The fundamental question is - Is the controller calling for heat, or is the...
I've just left mine laying on the floor right next to the cylinder, and it works fine. I had meant to fix it to the wall when I was happy it was working, but never got round to it. And if it isn't...
First, are you aware that you can see the demands for each zone? Long press on settings, and then System Summary. Check that the rooms that are cold are actually calling for heat. Are you sure you...
At £4000 pa for their starter package, I suspect not.
All mine effectively goes off at night (set to 8 degrees). But rely on Optimum start to have the rooms at temperature I want when I want. No guessing about what time to turn things on. And I don't...
I presume then that the battery contacts are not soldered to the PCB?
I've not looked at disassembling - is it straight forward?
Thanks - as I expected.
Also, on the last change, it did not display the Sync message. It's working as a thermostat, but I can't use it to adjust target temperature.
Think I might be...
Would anyone with a DTS92E thermostat like to comment on the battery life they experience? I changed the last set about two months ago (Energizer Max), and the unit is already flashing low battery....
Ok so this is where my complete lack of knowledge of OpenTherm (and perhaps naivety about evohome) shows. I had assumed, probably wrongly, that if you were using OT with evohome, then evohome would...
Presumably the temperature sensor connected to the boiler is not needed if you have evohome controlling the DHW.
ok. I had assumed that if you were using OpenTherm then evoHome would simply open the CH / DHW valves as appropriate, and if you had enabled DHW priority that it would then always close the CH valve...
Thanks for those. Makes for interesting reading.
One thing I'm still struggling to get my head around is why you need to have the CH 2-port normally open. Is it not more accurate to say that you...
I've seen a few references in various posts regarding a so called x-plan, but any links associated with the conversations lead to 404 errors. Can anyone point me to an explanation or diagram?
Having just moved from Y-plan to S-plan, I'm noticing short cycling more now, mainly because the time delay between relay switch on and boiler ignition is longer due to valve delay. Before adding...
