Had my first problems with the system, hot water set to 60c differential is +/- 6c and noticed H/W was showing at 71c on the controller and the boiler was still running so controller still calling...
That looks interesting and promising. Its the first i have heard about it, what is SSM. Is there a web page for it.
As I said ( i am thinking making the batteries last as long as possible was high up the to do list). With people writing different software for evohome on here surely someone can find and implement a...
Well thats very interesting to know, just wondering how that may affect my temp install. The hot water set up i have applies all year round, comes on once for 5-1/2 hours per day at the same...

I have read somewhere that the wall mount unit itself can cause comms problems which i am presuming is caused by the copper windings, Just a thought. I have only had my temporary...
I have no experience of lithiums leaking only been using them since installing evohome but they do have a very very long shelf life, 20years so Energizer say. they have on the pack "Worlds longest...
CT1, I can see what you are saying about the battery contact and batteries. I've had many occasions were dead products have sprung to life even just rotating the batteries to and fro in there holder....
Scubajoe, that sounds promising two years is a good run with no faults. I will keep the hot water switch off thing in mind.

Since i installed evohome on an old system were only two thermostatic rad valves were fitted the system can get a bit noisy when all HR92,s have closed, so i think an Automatic bypass Valve could be...
DbMandrake, found it, I didn't realize the small blue rounds could be clicked on for that purpose. I thought they just indicated how long it would be for the idle screen to activate with the one...
DbMandrake, thanks i have looked for that idle screen option you mention but never seen it, i will take another look today.
MrBoy, i sadly found there were only 6 switching points per zone, 3 on...
I would like to see
1. Being able to switch to Fahrenheit for the temperature displays
2. More switching points per zone
3 Being able to select no idle screen so i can see all of my zones...
Thats my intention, leave it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes then tweak if needed then just sit back in the warm glow :)
Cancelled all "set as permanent,s" and glad to say system now working correctly with no green led lit on BDR91 when system is not calling for heat. Its not as if i didnt do any research on evohome...
Thanks for the info, didnt know that. Gives me a starting point for tomorrows adjustments.
Alas the setting down to 5c didnt work out as some of the zones failed to come on and i had to overide manually later in the evening via the HR92,s. I have adjusted things on the controller today but...
bruce_ miranda, done the 5c as suggested and all zones are now showing 0% and no green LED lit. I will see if its the same tomorrrow, i will keep the champagne on ice till then.
DBMandrake, is...
I have now got the honeywell app sorted and my firmware has been updated from 2.0.011 to 2.0.017 (sorry bruce_miranda cant do the pic you requested now). I got to the page showing the six zones i...
