Hmm maybe balancing isn't the issue. Seems its already getting a 20C differential. Thats with the livingroom and dining room requesting a +1C change.

Do i do each rad at a time as this would more closely represent how its used ie when the heating comes on in a morning it heats each room individually at different times.
Looks like TRV4s can be...
So how best to go about balancing considering evohome wont let me control the flow temp, or the boiler firing or not. The best i can do is remove a trv and set it high and put the trv in a cold place...
I did that via massively oversizing the rads to a delta 35t.
For instance the master bedroom required 1363W, calculated t35 at 2164w i fitted a type 21 600X1800 at 2295W.
Some rooms went even...
I dont think balancing is the issue. And not sure why evohome would require it.
None of my radiators are all on at the same time even at start up so what am i balancing, pointless balancing so...
All pipework is 22mm and 15mm to each radiator. As its on evohome all rads are fully open at the lock shield to keep restrictions as low as possible when only one or two rads are on.
I will try...
I have a bypass radiator as well, so turning the auto-bypass up shouldn't be an issue, its set to about 0.25 and goes up to 0.5 by the look of it.
My boiler really doesnt play nice with Evohome.
Getting Flow/Return Thermistor faults again, which shut off the boiler.
Basically looks like its when the return temp is very close to the flow...
No just Honeywell, have loads of smart home stuff but Honeywell gives me by far the most grief.
Lyric just will not work via Alexa, constantly refuses to connect to the WiFi when the fire stick next...
Don't talk to me about lyrics, got the new one and it's pants. Just doesn't work.
Wow, think I just fixed it.
Logged into the website and removed the comfort system.
Then readded it with the Mac and CRC numbers.
All seems normal now and the app as well.
Seems odd.
Yes use that page, and says service fully operational, yet still says no communication with system.
It doesn't help that Honeywell just don't seem to reply to emails.
Is there a complete way of...
Still says "communication with the system has been lost" for me.
Getting fed up of this evohome.
Seems so, yesterday i was having issues with the app and website both saying "communication with system lost" cant even log in today.
Not sure what else to try it's basically a bit useless at the minute.

Thats what i get at the minute.
Getting this message with both the App and the total connect website.
"Communication with the system has been lost"
Strange thing is i can still control Evohome with Amazon Echo, and the app...
Ive had to do this on my verticale rad, i have it as my bypass radiator and it was too loud so its only open a bit, the auto bypass then kicks in if only the vertical and one other radiator are on.
I have this exact setup, C32 gen 2 with opentherm and evohome. My installed had never fitted any of it before but said it was very easy. Opentherm is just 2 wires which is well documented in the...
What figures are you all posting, m3 per month, day Kwh per day?
I take my readings once a month.
08.01.18
126 m3 1417 kwh (average 47.2 kwh/day)
08.12.17
123 m3 1384 kwh (average 46.1...
You could easily as part of an advanced setup have the valve operated manually from closed open until you have flow and set one step back as 0%
To think it could all be solved if you could set the hr92 to a minimum open level. Also a delay in switching radiator valves off so the boiler can do it's overrun. I would love to be able to set the...
I had a zone go into openwindow mode last night even though nothing was open. If it does it again i will be turning the function off.
I hope they put it on the home screen plenty of room.
