    Api

@Rameses: One thing I'd love to get closure on is 'formalising' the API.

I write Alexa skills for a living and I want to release a non-affiliated skill to control Evohome, but I don't want to put...

Has your toaster received any updates recently? Does that give you an urge to replace it?

So for clarity, they only seem to be faffing around with v1 and not (yet) with v2?

I think v2 is better anyway because it also supports schedule editing whereas v1 does not (IIRC). When you say that session keep-alive is no longer working, do you mean that the oauth tokens are...

Did anybody from this or the Domoticz community ever succeed in getting an official appID from Honeywell? Or are we still collectively relying on one packet-sniffed years ago?

  7. New TotalConnectedComfort WebAPI ?

I've discovered an official Total Connect Comfort API that's actually targeted towards Evohome and not Honeywell Home. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in posts here so it's likely new (the page...

I have Evohome Security happily operating alongside Evohome for 2 years now and never a glitch. It's also on 868MHz but probably with different encoding. The ISM bands (which include 868) are...

I have a script running on cron that checks if TCC is down and sends a push notification to my iPhone via Prowl if it's unresponsive. Luckily I have a HGI80 via Domoticz so I can still control things...

Couldn't you just create a volt-free contact by controlling a relay with the output voltage of the Hubr when it's 'on'?

  12. Difference between Honeywell Home and Total Connect Comfort branding

Could any of the Honeywell/Resideo employees lurking here perhaps enlighten us as to the difference between the Honeywell 'Home' API and the TCC API, other than TCC's API being unofficial while Home...

I had the same problem with no access via iOS app but funnily enough control via Alexa was working OK. This surprises me as that's an external API 'user' too, just like the app.

Over a year since the last post here so time to revive. Does anybody know the difference between the Honeywell 'Home' API and the TCC API? The Evohome app on iOS has a splash screen that brands it as...

Nice ! I have implemented both boost and early/late start myself, using Alexa to trigger instead of needing a touchscreen so no additional hardware (it all runs on the NUC that my Domoticz runs on)....

Does anybody know if a HGI80 can be used to update the schedule using the 868MHz connection? Were any endpoints ever discovered/created?

How much of a support burden can it be? I doubt that the scheduling aspect of Evohome is where Honeywell handholds people - it's more likely for installation or RF grief that support gets called.

  24. Evohome linked to Google Calendar for unlimited scheduling

Just curious if the heat demand per zone that's now hidden inside the settings will be exposed via an API endpoint? Anybody at Honeywell know this?
