FYI, the latest iOS app (4.0.9) appears to be using an applicationId of 48daa960-90f4-49df-a8eb-44e96e6ed744
;)
+1
I tried contacting Honeywell the other week to see if I could get some official documentation and an application Id for my SmartThings app, but all they did was direct me to this thread.
From this description it sounds like you have "Delayed Start" configured instead of "Optimum Start" (which will bring the setpoint forward).
To backup what Paul's written, here's a chart of my...
My app's has only ever used https://tccna.honeywell.com/WebAPI...hence why I'm thinking it's something to do with the applicationId. I suspect the applicationId...
Got an email from Honeywell today:
Thing is, the only mobile app I'm using is the latest iOS one (4.0.9), so I suspect Honeywell think I'm using an older product because of the applicationId...
Looks like I missed this offer. Damn!
Anyone know of any retailers offering a similar trade-in deal?
One more thing… having just re-read this thread I’ve noticed people are referring to different versions of the API (“v1”, “v2”, "US" vs "EMEA") and I’m now not sure which version I’m using and, more...
Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly I have an original colour controller and separate RFG100. I'll have to do some more research into any more advantages of the new wifi model to see if it's worth...
Hi All,
First, a big thanks to everyone who's contributed to this thread. I'm writing an app to connect to EvoHome and it wouldn't be possible without the people here.
Some questions I have...
Hi Mavis, it's just me at home so that makes things relatively simple when it comes to programming logic. However, I work random days from home vs going to the office in London, so I have set Evohome...
Well, I didn't get any responses, but for the record I went with a Samsung SmartThings Hub (v2) and it does everything I wanted, including native Evohome integration, plus I'll have a Rako Lighting...
You can do this right now with Siri, Homebridge, and a Samsung SmartThings Hub. Minimal coding required.
See here:...
I have similar issues to the OP. I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2 on O2 in the UK. The Honeywell Comfort app works fine (albeit slowly, 5-10secs to login and show room temps) when my phone is...
Hi,
First, a big thanks to Roy, Andrew, and Fraggel. :D
I am hoping to use the c# library that Fraggel has created to build my own little data logger, and also (eventually) to create a link to...
Just to be clear, a "z-wave USB dongle" is a "USB radio device", which is an example of a "PC to 868 MHz hardware bridge". All the same thing.
E.g....
Hi Mike,
I'm in a similar situation to you in that I'm trying to decide which HA controller to go for, and I'm currently considering both software-only and hardware solutions.
On the hardware...
Forgive me if I've misunderstood your question, but if you're running HA controller software such as OpenHAB or Fhem, then one would assume you're going to run it on some kind of PC device, which...
Hello all.
I’m looking for advice about choosing a home automation controller.
A bit of background: I’ve had Rako lighting for a few years and this year I want to install heating control (most...
