    Help on Home Networking

Hi folks I have bought a Wiselan Panel.

I am looking to flood wire my refurbished house.

    1) When running a Cat 5E to a outlet do I need a return to the Control Panel?

    2) If I am using 4 way RJ-45 outlets I will need to run 4 Cat 5E, correct?

    Thanks for now, Mark

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here. You'd normally run one cable between your wiring panel and the outlet socket. Whether data goes to the socket or back to the panel depends on what you've plugged in. You'd punch down all eight wires at the cabinet end then all eight wires at the outlet end.

    Yup :-) Four individual cables.
