    Potterton Prima F60

Hi Guys, I am new at this and hope you can help.

I was hearing a lot of flickering noises in the bolier, turning itself off and on very frequently. On a recent service, the engineer suggested that it might be the air pressure switch because the flickering problem was not happening when he had the boiler cover open. As soon as he put the cover back on the flickering started. I had the pressure switch changed and the flickering problem has gone away. However, I now have to press the reset switch literally everyday to keep the bolier working. I don't know why it keeps resetting itself. Also during the ON periods the boiler stays on for 5 to 10 minutes and then the flames go out and restart after 10 minutes or so. While the boiler is off during these times, I can feel the radiators cooling down quickly. Should this be happening. During this time the pump is running. HELP

i would ring potterton and get them to sort it,

for a set fee they will repair the boiler, can't remember how much, but i think it's around the £270 mark.

i think it's the circuit board,

believe me it will be a lot cheaper to get potterton.
